Agate Beach [Natural Attractions], 6 miles east of Eagle Harbor.  Pastel colored agate and lesser semiprecious stones found on Lake Superior beaches from Ontonagon to Keweenaw Peninsula and from Munising to Whitefish Point.

Astor House Museum [Historical Museum], 560 Gratiot Street, Copper Harbor, MI 49918, Toll Free: (800) 433-2770, Phone: (906) 289-4449. Large antique doll and Indian artifact collections, displays of the copper mining boom days and Lake Superior shipwrecks, plus displays of old tools, rocks, minerals, old bottles, insulators and civil war items.

Bammert Blacksmith Shop Museum [Historical Museum], M 26, Phoenix, MI 49950, Phone: (906) 289-4990. Blacksmith shop active in the early 1900's. In addition to shoeing horses, blacksmiths could repair and make almost anything made of metal. Buggies, sleighs and wagon wheels were built in this shop. Many of the tools of the blacksmith trade, including the forge, were left undisturbed in the building when the business was closed. Open mid-June to early October.

Copper Falls [Waterfalls], Owls Creek, Eagle Harbor.

Copper Harbor Lighthouse and Tours [Lighthouse], Fort Wilkins Historic State Park, Copper Harbor, MI 49918. A narrated cruise through Copper Harbor's once bustling port takes you to one of Michigan's oldest lighthouses. Restored to its original 1866 beauty overlooking the majesty of Lake Superior, you are met by a staff member from the Michigan Dept. of History who will assist you through the interior complete with furnishings from the 1866 era. Please allow one and a half hours for the round-trip tour of the Lighthouse, new Maritime Museum, with easy walking paths leading to more historical artifacts and Michigan's first commercial copper mine site. Exhibits in the 1848 lightkeeper's dwelling show why the light tower was built, how the lights worked, who maintained the light and the overall context of the site. The 1866 lighthouse features exhibits that recreate the lives of keepers and their families during the early 20th century. Accessible only by ferry from the Copper Harbor Marina mid-May thru Mid October.

Delaware Copper Mine [Historic Site], US-41, Copper Harbor, MI 49918. Phone: (906) 289-4688. Located 12 miles south of Copper Harbor, the Delaware Copper Mine dates from 1847-1887. Eight million pounds of copper were removed from the five shafts that reached a depth of 1,400 feet with ten levels. The tour takes you down shaft No. 1 to the first level. You'll see pure veins of copper exposed in the walls of the mine. Model train, rock & mineral and mining displays, antique engines, petting zoo and walking trails. Museum and gift shop at the mine site. Open daily June thru October. A Heritage Site of the Keweenaw National Historical Park.

Eagle Harbor Lighthouse Museum [Lighhouse, Historical Museum], M 26, Eagle Harbor, MI 49950, Phone: (906) 289-4990. This light is located 32 miles northeast of Houghton and was built in 1851 as an octagonal brick tower with an attached dwelling. A fog signal building was added in 1895. It is still an active light and the keeper's dwelling is operated as a public museum. The Keweenaw County Historical Society operates a fascinating nautical and historical museum in the lighthouse and surrounding buildings. A Heritage Site of the Keweenaw National Historical Park.

Eagle River Falls [Waterfalls], Eagle River, Eagle River.

 Eagle River Lighthouse [Lighthouse], Coastline, Eagle River, MI 49950, Phone: (906) 337-4579.  Built in 1855 at the south end of the Eagle River. It is now a private residence.

Jacobs Falls [Waterfalls], Jacobs Creek, 4 miles northeast of Eagle River.

Estivant Pines [Natural Attraction], Copper Harbor.  This nature sanctuary is located 2.5 miles south of Copper Harbor. The 400-acre nature sanctuary is home to the oldest living trees in Michigan, several of which more than 125 feet tall, and more than 200 years old. It is also the home of many unique animals and rare plants. The area contains two foot trails, namely Memorial Grove, a 1.4-mile trail, and Cathedral Grove a 1.5-mile path. These trails are open to the public year round, accessible by automobile in the summer and snowshoe in the winter.

Fort Wilkins Historic State Park [Campgrounds & RV Parks, Historic Site], 15223 U.S Highway, Copper Harbor, MI 49918. Approximate Size: 700 (Acres). Phone Number: (906) 289-4215. Fort Wilkins Historic State Park offers camping and day use facilities and features a restored 1844 military outpost and one of the first lighthouses on Lake Superior. Restoration work and development began in the 1930s. Costumed interpreters demonstrate the history of the Keweenaw Peninsula fort.

Gull Rock Light [Lighthouse], Coastline, Copper Harbor, MI 49918. Phone: (906)337-4579. This lighthouse must have been one of the loneliest assignments a Lake Superior lighthouse keeper would have to endure. The island is so small that during stormy weather waves wash over the entire area, leaving only the house and its square brick tower to withstand the forces of nature.

Lower Falls [Waterfalls], Gratiot River, 3.5 miles southwest of Ahmeek.

Lower Falls [Waterfalls], Montreal River, 5.5 miles east of Bete Grise.

Manganese Gorge Falls [Waterfalls], Manganese Creek, 1.5 miles southeast of Copper Harbor.
